start, you may further your meal with a main course such as meatballs.
Traditional puddings are also readily available. My favourite being Limburg
pie. If
it is on the menu, it is one not to be missed, hot or cold. When the menu comes, don't be afraid to ask what some of the offering are. Especially if you have not got a Dutch friend with you. The size of portions here is not for those on a diet. Traditional Dutch dishes are mainly meaty and fulfilling. Much is made of the love the dutch have for mashed potatoes here and who can blame them. When it is done right, as it is here, you will enjoy every creamy mouthful.
